It's being reported that Bear turned down a $5 million dollar NIL deal from another school to return to BYU.
That's some serious money. I don't know what he's making at BYU, but it's not that much, or so the story claims.
What do you think? What would you do?
If the story is true (big if), then I give mad props to Bear.
If I were in a situation where I'm good enough to receive big NIL deals in college, but most likely not a high draft pick, I would take every dime I could while the iron is hot. I never blame these kids for chasing the money while they can.
Also consider that he is not a member. So he is finding something else there with a lot of value.
