It's not supposition or guessing that Roderick has been the primary play-caller beginning with Boise State. It's a reported and confirmed fact.



Grimes retains some play-calling duties--when Roderick wants a run, Grimes calls the specific run play, so Grimes is more of a run-game-coordinator when it comes to actually calling plays during the game. Otherwise, it's Roderick calling the shots on gameday.
