CougarbibSomeone I respect greatly that is a U and UW fan and who reluctantly admitted at the end of last year that BYU had a better QB than Utah and that Utah would struggle to break even in the PAC has reassessed based on what he has seen.
Utah exceeded his expectations, but the jury is still out. Utah is favored by 7 over UW in The Rice Paddy. He worries about altitude and the Ute run defense even though UW has Chris Polk as RB. He thinks Heaps sucks and the BYU OL sucks. So maybe it isn't all one or the other. Argument over- right?
He suggests Heaps apologists watch True Soph first year starter - Keith Price show how to face adversity and make plays while Redshirt Frosh Nick Montana - their consolation prize for not getting Heaps sits waiting to be prepared. Maybe the Utes rattle him in his 4th start. Maybe he continues his Top 10 national and PAC 10 leading PER. Poor guy was not so highly touted. Hope he can make a play.
My friend's son was not supposed to play Sat due to leg injury. To his dad's surprise he suited up, started, and won player of the game. Won PAC player of the week 2 weeks ago. I can't believe the Utes did not offer him but he was too slow, not athletic enough, and to small. I guess we will see how he does vs Utah's PAC leading rusher - also in his 1st D1 season.
Can Norm Chow get it over on USC chums Sark and Holt? Lots of bad blood there.
