No, not Bronco, ZED! I noticed him on the field a lot more yesterday and he had a couple of great blocks. I've always wondered why BYU doesn't use him more.

Agreed - Zed Mendanhall is a workhorse - solid dependable - a go to guy. I have always liked him & he does not falter. He's not a "thoroughbred" - but - he will always get it done - an in the trenches plough horse kind of guy.

Was he a little nicked up at the beginning of the season? I thought I heard something about him not being at 100% or at least not close enough. I omitted him on my game ball list, I do think he deserves one almost as much as Kariya.

Everyone but JJ has been hurt this year. Kariya, Zed and Q all have had injury issues.
