Well, looks like both of our teams were spanked last week. Here's to hoping for a brighter future! Stoudt threw 5 picks in the game, Mackey came in got us moving...was hurt...Stoudt throws pick in redzone.

Hey "Ole Miss In Peace" - I gotta tell you about an experience I had yesterday. I was at the doctor's office with my wife. She had a serious horse injury & has had several back surgeries. Anyway - while at the office, the Nurse that was helping my wife get ready for the MRI, we visited.



I commented on her accent - and asked where she was from. She said "I'm a country girl from Mississippi." I replied "Really, I just watched a football game several weeks ago between Ole Miss and BYU. Her face lit up & said "I went to Ole Miss, that's my school."



She told me in great detail about getting ready for game day, getting to a "park" to get your spot at midnight to tailgate the next day, about the team taking the "Walk of Champions" among the tailgaters before the game, etc.



I told her about about emailing with you & the story of "jingling the keys" during the 4th Qtr. She laughed & said it was true! She told me all about the songs you sing - "and some have a few bad words in them, so we have songs for the kids too." LOL!



Anyway - I told her all about you & the enjoyable emailing we have done. I told here I'm a real Ole Miss fan now. Glad to hear from you again!! Best of luck!! It's tough grinding through those losses.

It's horrible when you give the SEC doormat their biggest SEC blowout since 1960. I don't see Houston Nutt hanging on until next year if this team doesn't make it to a bowl. 5 more wins will be brutal with our schedule. I want us to go after Kirby Smart (Bama D coach), Hugh Freeze (Ark. ST HC), maybe Mike Leech?, Urban Meyer (Gotta give it a shot...he loves building programs up.), and Tressell has been on campus...he's too crooked though.

Oooh - Tressell scares me. I think he has bad habits - tough to break.

Ole Miss = BYU. They are the same team. Can't throw, can't really run. Awesome defense for the most part, but everything else is boring vanilla football.

I think Nutt just can't get it done. We line up in the wrong spots, busted assignments, t.o.'s when they shouldn't be called...like coming out of a commercial break! REALLY?! We have all the talent it needs to blow out Vanderbilt...if you watched the game you would have been scratching your heads. We were faster, bigger, and stronger...just got whipped on busted assignments etc.

It could be just the assistant coaches. The head coach does not do it all.
