I have To See For Myself

The Bibster, after hearing Jake Heaps leadership and accountability on Monday followed by Heaps saying he wished he could strap on the helmet and play right now, has decided to fly to SLC on is way to Minneapolis and use one of his season tickets - I guess one of his sons will have to sit in the student section with all of the pretty girls. One son will want to do that and one won't - so it works out perfectly.

You really cannot tell what is wrong with this offense by television viewing. I am going to get up in the box, so to speak, to see what Doman either is or should be seeing if he isn't. I want to get a first hand look at separation, checkdowns, and precision. That is what the TV isn't giving me.

The Bib and the Little Bibsters have a tradition of stopping in at Hogi Yogi near Provo High School prior to game time for a sandwich and a frozen yogurt. The Mailman, unfortunately, will not be able to make it.

I recommend that all 65,000 BYU fans meet at the Hogi Yogi for a pep ralley or a frozen yogurt. I will be the old guy with bad eyes and two handsome sons. Anyone who has wondered if I really exist can feel free to drop by and say Aloha. I will be wearing an Aloha shirt - as Blue as I can round up.

Umm, I don't know how to break this to you but all the corporately owned Hogi Yogi's went out of business including the one by Provo High. I think the closest one to Provo would be the one in Springville or i believe there's still one in UVU's food court.

This is a gamebreaker and probably explains why the team was so out of synch last week. This is a short week, but I will find a way to overcome this set-back as it is also an integral part of my parking strategy. I hope Provo High School and it's spacious parking lot are still intact.

Where are you staying? Turtle Bay or with friends? Bring your surfboard up there. Great Mexican food and other places to eat in Haleiwa. Overall there isn't much in accommodations out that way. It is beautiful. Try to catch a Kahuku High School game while here and scout for a fullback.

PM me, and I will give you my number if you need any help figuring out what to do on Oahu. Polynesian Cultural Center, BYU H, LDS Temple, Turtle Bay Hotel and restaurants and golf course, Sunset Beach, Haleiewa, are the main things up that way plus green mountains and blue ocean views.
