Wickchad1. Take the green jersey off of Heaps in practice. Let him expect to take some hits. (Don't let Kavenga blitz in practice, tell everyone else to wrap him up but not bring him to the ground...) If he gets hurt...oh well.
2. In practice tell the scout team secondary exactly what route the receivers are about to run. Maybe this will better simulate how the receivers will be guarded in games. Heaps needs to learn how to make throws to receivers that appear to be covered in man-to-man. It's pretty obvious that having our offense look good in practice means nothing considering our starting corners can't play man in the games.
3. Start the game with some easy throws for Heaps. 5 yard outs, screens, swing passes to JJ. Build up his momentum. Then have him start throwing down field and calling plays with multiple formations.

5. Give Nelson a series on offense. If he drives the team down for a TD, give him a second series.
6. Call QB draw twice in the first series of the game. Tell Heaps he better not slide.
7. Put Doman in the booth. If Heaps really needs someone to hold his hand on the sidelines they can bring back Bosco as a game consultant.
8. Bring more pressure on passing downs with at least 6 rushers. Move the corners up closer to the line of scrimmage and take away the quick throws. If they pick up the blitz we will be just as screwed in this coverage as if we only send 3 and the QB has all day to pick apart our zone defense.
9. Throw the ball high to Apo and Hoffman anytime they are single covered.
