BroncoBotI feel bad for Heaps. He obviously thought he would come in and continue or surpass the tradition of BYU qbs. And we all thought he could possible do it. It's been humorous to listen to the excuses made for him. Instead of let him shoulder some of the blame like a responsible 19 year old, some fans (and it seems coaches) have pampered him to no end. So here's list some of the excuses we've heard over the last couple years, some more legit than others.... Feel free to add to them.
1. Didn't get enough fall snaps
2. Receivers drop everything
3. He's a Freshman
4. He's a Sophomore
5. He's facing the toughest defense he'll see all year
6. Biggest improvements are seen between week 1 and week 2 (apparently the biggest set-backs are between weeks 2-3 :D )
7. No running game
8. No time to throw
9. WR aren't getting open
10. playcalling sucks
11. TEs suck
