That game spiraled out of control because of turnovers. I don't think there is much we can take away from it.



7 turnovers. It is just one of those games where things went so badly its hard to even point a finger at what was wrong.



the only thing i feel comfortable with is that our defense did an excellent job while our offense continued to not be able to punch it into the end zone despite moving the ball quite well.



I am having a hard time not thinking this (along with super conferences) is the beginning of the end for byu sports.

Forgive me for being slow, but if this is realy a fluke, then it's hardly the beginning of the end right?

1. Agreed - the turnovers & penalties hurt us bad - very badly.

2. Our Defense is stellar - studly - great. They became so discouraged @ the end - because of Offensive turnovers & blunders - they gave up. It's wrong - but I understand.

3. It's not the end of BYU sports - or BYU football. BYU has a good football coaching staff - they will figure it out. But it needs to happen sooner than later!

4. Doman needs to quit being a cheerleader & get his butt upstairs & objectively run that Offense.

5. I was so ticked off @ that JD Falsev end zone fumble! Bronco should make it a team policy - when the ball gets kicked into the edn zone - catch it & take a knee. I never saw "Glory Boy Falsev" even get back out to the 20 yd line w/ his crappy returns. Take a knee in the end zone! Dayum it!

6. This is going to hurt BYU recruiting in the entire Rocky Mountain area badly. Badly. If you want to play for a winner - on a Big Stage - play for the Yewts. It's true right now. Dayumn! I hate that.

Nobody on the team is fast enough on kick returns to get beyond the 25 or 30 consistently. Either that or we don't know how to kick block on kickoffs.

The thing that pissed me off the most was Doman during a timeout laughing and smiling with the offense after a turnover, and the announcer said "that's what a good coach does." Like hell.

Or....he could have been like Kelly at Notre Dame and dropped constant f-bombs on national TV at his 20 y/o QB and look like a complete idiot.



Not sure where the middle ground is, but I doubt anyone was really mucking it up and having a good time there. Unless you can put it on YouTube and show me.

ND won, right? ND went from 10 turnovers in the first two games to just three yesterday, right? Brian Kelly and his f-bombs has his team improving. Doman and his ComedySportz routine have an offense pulling a Hindenberg.

is that how you want our players treated?

i'm not saying use kid gloves, but the adults should act like adults, especially with cameras rolling.



what happens in the locker room in private is one thing, but public humiliation of your player and yourself on the sideline isn't the byu answer, and if you're holding out hope that bronco will get in anyone's face then i think you'd better move on.

Absolutely.



and BTW--anyone who has attended a closed BYU practice will tell you that Bronco's language can get just as colorful as Kelly's. Kelly just doesn't clean it up for game time.
