The problem is that the offense is so bad, and on the field such a short amount of time, that the defense has been on the field the whole first half. They've been able to keep us in the game for a half, but you run out of gas real quickly on D, especially after the adrenaline from the start of the game has worn off. As our offense continues to turn the ball over or get three n' outs, our defense continues to be on the field for long stretches, which is where the offense starts being able to run on us because we're gassed. It's not what happens at halftime that's the problem, it's what happens in the first half.
