Utah football practice was delayed nearly two hours today after a player reported finding an unknown white powdery substance on the practice field. Kyle Whittingham immediately suspended practice while police were called to investigate. After a complete analysis experts determined that the white substance unknown to players was the GOAL LINE. Practice resumed after a special agent decided the team was unlikely to encounter the substance again this week with the BYU defense ready to go!

Funny, but considering our issues on O this year--it is less funny right now.

BYU players heard this report on Twitter and tweeted that they had the same mysterious substance show up now in Mississippi and Texas and now Provo and that they would ask Ross Apo if he had any theories about what it was since he was the only offensive player that had dared go anywhere near it. Later a Kyle VanNoy tweet cleared up the mystery when he tweeted that he had stumbled and fallen into a pile of it by accident. At first he threw both hands in the air and ran back to the sidelines frantically yelling and screaming, but calmed down when he finally realized it was harmless. Both Apo and VanNoy have committed to revisit the scene Saturday and conduct further investigation. They hope to be joined by other teammates on both sides of the ball. The Utes have been cautioned to avoid the white substance at all costs until BYU issues the "all clear" signal. It is not yet clear whether the BYU players will be coming by land or by air - but internationally renowned consultant Paul Revere has been brought in to develop a signaling system. They will flash one lamp before attacking the area by land and two lamps when attacking by air. In BYU tradition, they want to always make sure their opponents know exactly what they are doing to avoid any possibility of surprises or claims of deception.
