crh55Coming into this season it was apparent there was tremendous upside to this team all the talent, speed, and athleticism at the skill positions and experience on the O-line. We knew the defense would be legit with Bronco at the helm and some nasty linebackers.
However, i totally expected the offense to struggle out of the gates. With a first year offensive coordinator, a young QB, and one of the most difficult September schedules we've had in a long time, we all should have known this team would was going to struggle somewhat for all of the aforementioned reasons.
I knew we would have to put up at least 20 on UT to come out of Austin with a win. But i wasn't sure we could do that on the road and with heaps and Doman still figuring things out.
That being said If we can hold our opponents to 17 points a game we should be able win the rest of them no problem. But the learning curve for a young Offensive Coordinator and QB needs to be a lot shorter, because the frUtes D looks pretty stout as well.
