the rest of the way

I believe Texas is the best team we will play all year. I bet we go defeated the rest of the way. Starting with a close win next week to get us back on track. While we are locked into our bowl it would be huge to go 11-1 and finished ranked high. We are unfortunately still one year away from greatest. But lets not all lose hope because we let one game slip away. This season is still important and still has the chance to be something special. I can't wait for this team to come out playing with some fire next week. Loses like this have a way of staying with you for a while. I'm excited to see what we are capable of.

If we win out, I will personally consider this season a success. Even if we lose one more game I'll still consider this season a success. Anything less than 10 wins (including the bowl game) and I'll be disappointed. It's not all doom and gloom. I'm sure our offense will figure out what's going on by the end of the game next week

No way we beat TCU and I'm sure TCU would have beaten Texas today.

Not sure how old you are, but back in the day, The Brick Oven at the edge of campus was called "Heaps Pizza"

For everyone's mental health.. just remember this season is still a building season. We've all gotten caught up in having two giant receivers, an elite 11 qb and an athletic D.. The reality is that while that combination is rare at BYU, the top teams routinely have that. And our guys are young.

Haha I did mean undefeated but apparently my phone autocorrected that. I'm fairly young. Just starting my first year of my masters degree at byu. We were fully capable of winning this game, as we are the rest. Tcu will be tough but they are a long time away; I expect us to be rolling by then. Last year, teams were clearly better than us. I haven't seen us outclassed this year. That's why I expect us to win out.

I'm convinced that BYU's defense will keep them in any game, and that the offense will determine the outcome. Isn't it funny that just a few years ago Bronco wanted his team to score at least 35 points!!!??? I have a hard time seeing us get to 21 right now. :~(

We shoulda/coulda won yesterday but coming into the season I expected a trip up or two. Anyone expecting to go undefeated this year was a little "too" overconfident in my opinion. I hoped and believe it possible but didn't expect it. Next year though I really expect us to be able to run the table even though Texas will be better than this years team I still think Jake will grow enough to pick apart any D. And I think Doman will be able to make more of the right calls at the right time. This year I was expecting 10 or 11 wins. Tx and TCU my two unknowns. We lost one of them but now I feel even better after seeing TCU a couple of times. They are not the TCU of the Dalton years. I give us a very good chance of winning that game.

Dalton was a stud NCAA QB. I have a ton of respect for that guy.



Time will tell with this team. To early to want to see Magnum? ;)

If BYU plays like they have the past two weeks against man defense they will lose the next two weeks, possibly lose to USU, and definitely to TCU.



Heaps needs to learn how to throw into tight coverage and not check down to the back the whole game.

First half yes, second half no way do either of those teams beat TX. TCU and Utah's defenses are no better than ours. Their offenses are still figuring things out as well, especially Utah's. Next week will tell us a lot about the makeup of this team and whether or not they have "IT" (mainly the offense, because I know the D already has "IT".

False. Utah could not have beaten Texas yesterday. Texas would have shut down Utah's run game just as effectively. And Wynn, like Heaps, wouldn't have been good enough to emerge victorious.

TCU dominated AFA pretty badly, and then put in subs for the entire 4th quarter, letting AFA get 10 late points (including with 4 seconds left).



The TCU offense is pretty much at the same level as 2009-2010, able to score at will and with either pass or run.



The big question for TCU will be the defense and its new DBs..... but if Heaps does not go down field, it does not matter.
