It is a long story. The short story is kiwibacon=breeddud. Cougarblue had just updated and stating that their forums were now better and spam/porn free...low and behold two spam/porn posts pop up.Yesterday, I logged in as breeddud (an account I had requested they delete 2 months ago) My breeddud account worked to my surprise before the update it would not work. I assumed this is why the spammers/porn pushers were able to get on the site because admin thought bans were working but clearly they were not because an old account I have became active. So @ 7pmMST, as breeddud, I logged in to bump threads to get two "porn spam" threads buried to page two. I did that because the porn threads had been there and I reported them for 3 hours WITH NO ACTION BEING TAKEN. After 3 hrs I decided to bump the threads because they were not being deleted in what I consider a timely manner. I figured that burying the threads was better than having them at the top. Maybe you saw the "breeddud" bumps that said' "bumping this thread to move the porn spam to the second page." Admin/mods did not like the fact that I bumped threads. They also did not like that I used an alternate account to do it. They saw my actions as malicious and "spam" and banned my two accounts, kiwibacon & breeddud. I called TannerC, who is one of the main admins and he said I was on a permanent ban. He said that I had broken rules. I asked him to point out in the user agreement what I had done wrong(multiple accounts is/was not on there but when I started to moderate I had tried to make it a rule...it was an unwritten rule that I had started based on previous actions of Jared Cowley...) He could not state what exactly within the user guidelines other than spam and malicious activity was what I had done. I argued that my actions were not malicious but rather helpful to the community. I suggested if he is going to change the rules he may want to post them so others do not experience what I am experiencing. It was basically a shoot first ask questions later kind of event on their part. I got shot and now after the shooting they implement the rules for which I was banned...after the fact...Tannerc said that as a gesture of goodwill he will make my ban temporary but I still cannot post for 1 week and when my ban is over I will be watched very closely...I am being treated worse than the REAL trolls. Good grief.

After a few problems from this morning we've decided to post a few forum rules/guidelines for you all. Please read through these and if you have any concerns or questions direct them to either myself or one of the countless other moderators/administrators.
Spam
Spam is considered to be anything that is "unsolicited, unwanted, irrelevant, or inappropriate", including repetitive and unrelated replies to forum threads.
Any forum user who posts duplicate content repetitively, in a manner that doesn't benefit any user of the forum or causes the time of the moderators or administrators to be sidetracked, will immediately be banned, without warning. There is no reason to spam these forums whatsoever, and it is under the interest of every user that anyone who does so be banned immediately in order to hinder future spam attacks.
Multiple Accounts
It is against the forum rules to create and manage multiple accounts on these forums.
Managing multiple accounts can be considered spam, and multiple accounts being used can lead to problems in discussions down the road. There are no reasons for any user to have multiple accounts in use. Re-creating a profile, starting from scratch, etc. are acceptable reasons to create a new account... but there is no excuse for having multiple accounts that are active.

But it did moderate my feelings and caused me not to post when emotional.
I promise no overly-emotional posts on CougarCorner. I'm just grateful to be here.
