Minn - NMSU bodes well for Utes?

Holy cow, New Mexico State won. First Utah State nearly burns Auburn, now this.



Meanwhile Oregon State looks terrible.



Could it be that the mid-majors end up giving us more exciting games than the BCS opponents?

Now this? Minnesota has lost to FCS teams twice in the last three years (one was a newly promoted DII team). Anyone can beat Minnesota on any given Saturday.

NDSU is not a bad team, despite making the jump from DII.



They beat Kansas last year & barely lost an OT playoff game to the eventual national champs.



Anyway, my point wasn't that Minnesota is great. Just that they were a BCS team. And New Mexico State was supposed to be the worst team in FBS.
