Yea it's good to see that the fool that used to put together the Cosmo series has probably graduated and whomever has taken over has an understanding of what is cool.

That backing music is a pretty blatant rip-off of Vampire Weekend's "A-Punk."

Also this video from last year, easily copied a song done by Snow Patrol called, "Chocolate". I wonder if it's done by the same guy...

BYUtv along with most small networks use websites that specialize in tracks that serve as background music. I think BYUtv uses "killer tracks". Most of them are pretty crappy, the exception being the songs that are blatant rip offs of songs that are actually good. Most of them even have titles that mimic the real song.



Notice how there are no songs with mimicked lyrics though. Those are always terrible. Think Rebbeca Black awful.
