Jordan Wynn admits that playing smart isn't part of his game

Leave it to Jordan Wynn to find increasingly stupid things to say as the year goes on.



I bet he gives that interview an A.

Admitting you aren't playing smart is the 1st step.



The next step is facing reality--see if Southern Utah or Dixie needs a QB.

I thought he played too smart vs. MSU. Dude would not throw deep. I think their longest completion was 8 yards. So while he avoided errors, he also avoided big plays, which was the not smart part. Need balance.



Really though, do not care. Wynn is limited right now and it is plain to see. His throwing motion looks really bad. IF that continues, USC and BYU will throttle Utah.

Unless he gets hot. The context was that he is just playing too conservative. Too constrained.I sort of get that. Beck had ot get the Crowton shackles out of his head before he really progressed. and Heaps has to get all the expectations outof his head before he will really get in the zone.

The other possible explanation for Kryle's qb, Whyne, is that hes going down his excuse list and will get to his next one on saturday.

Anybody predicting that Utah might have a new qb by the time byu comes around? If he starts flinging it and getting picked, i think he not have a long leash :-)

They have NO other options at QB. If Wynn is healthy he is really the only option. I won't be surprised if Wynn gets injured on Saturday though. I do not see him making it through both the USC and BYU game without injury.

So, either Wynn thinks that playing conservative is the same as playing smart, or he just thinks that playing smart in general is a bad thing. Both of those possibilities are really stupid

Wynn just isn't a very good QB. He's nonchalant in the way he approaches the game.
