scott715Flew into Memphis 3 hours before game time. Went to Hertz to pick up my car. A fellow Cougar could not get a car (didn't have a reservation) so I gave him a ride to the game. Turns out it was Aaron Wagner who transfered from Washington St to BYU then played in the CFL and almost won the Grey Cup (lost on last play). His brother is a Sr LB Jadon Wagner, on the team.
Had a great time getting the inside thoughts from a real player. Got some stats on the productivity of our LBs. We got 6 starters and only 4 spots. Gained a better appreciation for Jadon and our D players.
The driver took longer than I thought. Their signage on their roads is very lacking. So we took some wrong turns. Dropped him off at the stadium and went to find a parking spot.
At StubHub they made me buy two tickets. A scalper traded my two North Endzone tickets for one as it would be easier for him to sell. My new ticketr was on the 40 yardline in the middle of the Old Miss fans.
After the game drove back to Memphis to fliy out the next morning. On the flight back, Aaron was on the flight again.
The scoop that I can share is that Unga is probably done with the NFL. He was not happy there. "Better to be poor and happy".
