OU, Texas Talking PAC-16, Again

The latest - Texas & OU are still talking to the PAC-12 ......

"The concept of the Pac-16 is again being discussed by Pac-12 officials as well as officials at Oklahoma and Texas, a source close to the situation told ESPN's Joe Schad.



The source said the pair of Big 12 schools know the opportunity to join the Pac-12 is their decision. Oklahoma State and Texas Tech could also join the proposed Pac-16, according to the source."

PAC-12 biased against BYU? You better believe it! I call them the "Go Daddy Conference." Their religious bias against BYU is deep - and everlasting. Take that to the bank.

Actually not taking BYU would be more consistent. They want to expand into new markets. BYU doesn't bring a new market to the PAC12/16. Other Big 12 schools would.

So go get syracuse. Go get Rutgers. Get Miami or Florida.



They're not taking BYU because they hate what BYU stands for. Morality, and sticking to your guns (literally if that means upholding the 2nd amendment). Otherwise BYU would be a perfect fit for travel, a HUGE rival for uofu, one of the biggest draws, etc etc etc.

I think they would be wise to take BYU for the reasons you listed. But now, they can say that they want to expand into "new" markets. They can hide their anti-LDS bias this time around behind the guise of "new markets."

Bingo! It will be interesting to see them offer Texas - after we beat Texas next week, then spank the Yewts (PAC-12 scum) the following week. Ha-ha-ha!! You bet.



Imagine that - BYU beats an SEC Team on the road, then a Big 12 Team on the road, then beats a newly made PAC-12 Team. But we're not good enough to get an invite.



All I can say is - today was step 1. We gotta win the next 2 games! 8)

So which team had the better tv ratings this week? Oh they didn't get on national tv? Too bad. Still like to see what our tv rating was.
