I'm an Ole Miss fan...

but I certainly wasn't 2 hours ago.



Offense wasn't as bad as people are making it imo. Moved the ball very well. In the end, they' have got to score, but they can drive the football. I would like to see more success with the deep ball.



Defense was phenomenal.

Ole Miss offense really began to click with Stoudt at QB, and I wasn't too keen on giving them the ball back with 45 seconds and only needing a FG to win.



I thought their run defense was pretty average...though we ended with less than 100 yards rushing. JJ had much more success than BK or Juice tonight.

Yes - Stoudt is the QB future for Ole Miss.



As I have posted before - I am a huge JJ fan. He is a solid workhorse. Very dependable & solid now (and last year).

Me too. Seemed like a classy team. Very little trash talk, few if any cheap shots, etc.

The fact that they couldn't run the ball behind that O-line is due to three things. First, they lost Brandon Bolden. That dude is good, and they weren't the same without him. Second, our front 7 is freaking awesome; all that they were advertised as and more. Third, Ole Miss couldn't consistently move the ball through the air. They had moments, but they couldn't sustain it. Plus, when they were in 100% passing situations, we were able to generate decent pressure given the talent they have up front.



Our defense is fast, physical, and nasty, and I love it. Barring large numbers of turnovers, I think they keep us within striking distance in every game this season.

Ole 64 yards rushing. With that O-line. 208 total yards of offense. Those are great numbers, especially on the road against an SEC team.



Now, if we can do the same on defense at Texas, maybe the offense will score some more points to make this better...

I agree with Red Neck Jedi and Darth Mangus - 3 reasons running game stalled and I am also now an Ole Miss fan. Very classy; good fans and very friendly...



sat next to the family of an Ole Miss lineman _ said they like Stoudt but that drop back passers have had trouble in the SEC - they say he has always had the mental grasp and advantage in the battle, but that against SEC defenses, they thought they needed a "more atheletic threat."

I concur thier fans were great. Got a few congratualations after the game. To go from up 13 to a loss stung for them. That plus some close calls at the end. Their fans were very loud and almost everyone was into the game.

Seem like a very classy bunch in general. Ole Miss is my new favorite SEC team.
