How Will The Money Situation Be If We Accept a Big12 Invite

How will it work. Do we keep our espn deal and get the conference money? Do we lose the espn deal and just step into A&M's shoes? Do we keep the espn deal for a few years until we become a 'full' member?



I wonder how that will work. How amazing would it be if we could keep our espn deal? Then we get the exposure and bcs access without the scheduling headaches of independence. Seems like a long shot to me.

Everything is subject to negotiating prowess of the parties.



This kind of thing will be very fluid until it's signed so not much good speculating until it's final.

The money will probably be double. The ESPN deal resolves by necessity. Hopefully and probably, this.



ESPN primary Big 12 agreement stays intact and BYU gets an equal to A &M share

Fox secondary Big 12 agreement stays intact and BYU gets an equal to A&M share

BYU retains rights to put any other games on BYU TV or anywhere they want but give up their ESPN money / deal

BYU gets rebroadcasting rights for all games (this one is a stretch)
