There has been reports this year after the open practices that in the future Bronco Mendenhall does not believe he will be opening practices up to the public, but may still open the fall scrimmage. CougarCorner.com encourages coach Mendenhall to reconsider as the open practices are a great way to get the hard core fans involved early. A few open practices very early in fall camp with a vanilla playbook is not likely to reveal much to opposing teams and scouts that they wouldn't already know. The only exception to this may be if the team is breaking in a new QB who has never seen the field before.
