Italy v BYU stream

So how well should we expect to play? I honestly have no idea how good the Italians are supposed to be.



Also, I didn't believe it from the other games, but it looks like...Zylstra...might be kind of good?

Down 30 near the end of the 3rd qtr. The italians are a pretty good team.

It has Greece at #4 and Italy at #7 in the world. Definitely good competition.



What happened in this game? Weren't just down like 2 points just before halftime? I missed the 3rd quarter and by the time I got back to watching we were down 30! At least we've been able to keep the lead from getting any worse during the 4th.

Scratch that. After I wrote it, I looked back and we were down 40

I got to see the last 5 minutes of the 4th. But I saw something unbelievable. Hartsock with deep post position and draws a foul with good footwork.



Anson Winder has gotten bigger. He looks more like Abouo now than a point guard.

Harrision played the point for most of the time I was watching. He looked more undercontrol today.



Zylstra doesn't have the athletic ability to drive the ball to the rim but his outside shot was going today and he hit a couple of tough floaters. Though I was confused as to why the 6'6" Zylstra was playing SG and the 6'4"ish Winder was playing small forward.

I loved the fact that some of our weaknesses were exposed in these last two games. There should be no embarassment felt in losing to these two teams, but it became obvious that there is trouble in Provo City after two blow-outs. It surely brought our guys back to earch with a reality check that we weren't getting playing Greek BB clubs.

agreed. It can be good to be humbled by teams that are clearly better than you. I'm sure they even found things to feel confident in as well. I didn't see the game against greece, but against Italy, we were definitely able to hang with them at times, and that's without a lot of our possible starters (Collinsworth, Davies, Carlino).

And italy had 3 NBA players on their team. good experience.
