Agreed. The offense doesn't have to be as potent if the defense can be better. It is a lot more possible for the defense to be head and shoulders better this year than for the offense rival the 2001 O.



Per Staley's injury, it is still painful to think about what might have been. That was as much of a game changer in a negative way as Staley's play was in a positive way.

Not only did it cost BYU another possibility of a championship and a higher profile it cost Staley millions.
