For any of you that were in Dallas for Oklahoma (and had reasonably good seats) you might recall JP in warmups and how big and scary he looked.

Now take a look at #3 in this picture.

Curious to know what was going on when this picture was taken.

Not sure KVN is that much bigger than JP vs OK. NOt sure currently how JP looks or is doing. BUt KVN had the speed, he needed a little more bulk IMO.

But again, those two as bookends, (if JP could stay healthy and huge) would just be fricken amazing. And Uona in the middle (all of them making Ogletree look a little smallish) what a lineup! And throw in THE Ansah (if he keeps developing the mental part of the game) and the depth. WOW!

AS excited as I am to see Heaps to Hoffman and Apo and the rest, I am so excited to see this front seven, esp those LB's all on the field at the same time.

Could that be 3 of the 4 LB's as NFL draftees? Plus Ansah? Great, GReat Possibilities abound for this team.

JP looked like his massive self Saturday. He praticed, then sat out the scrimmage portion, and he is just a big kid. Huge guns, etc. KVN is just taller and looks huge right now. KVN is a body type the SEC would drool over.

I would like to see a picture with Ansah in it for comparison. How did Ansah do in the scrimmage?

Ansah was ok, nothing to write home about. He is a big kid, but does not look as huge as JP and KVN. I saw one plays where he got pinched inside and he lost contain and the play went around him. HE seemed mad at himself after that, which tells me he is learning his role for that position and the light is starting to go on as far as position mastery goes.

Radio personalities are saying that he might be the best pass rusher on the team, but he's not that good against the run. They called him a "coach killer" where he'd get sacks on 2 consecutive downs, and then give up 3 and 13 on a simple sweep three times in a row.

KVN makes JP look small in that picture.

I am curious why the team only had enough money for a roll of electrical tape to put numbers on their practice shirts.... they could have at least splurged on duct tape!

JP is listed in the 2011 BYU Season ALmanac at 6'3" and 239.

KVN is listed at 6'3" and 219. I suspect KVN has packed on some muscle and thus weight, but they should be about the same size. Kyle just looks larger than last year, is my guess.

Ziggy (Ansah) didn't look great in the scrimmage from what I got to see. He couldn't really get off the initial block, and looked a little lost at times, but MAN DUDE CAN RUN!

He literally reminded me of Rob Morris back when he played, tackling guys on the other side of the field along with the dbacks.

IF/WHEN he gets it figured out he will be straight killer out there.

That's the MTN money working for ya.

Title IX says you have to buy equal amounts of duct tape and electrical tape, regardless of what you need to use them for. So the team has to get "creative" with their extra electrical tape. That's the real reason they opened the new broadcast center.
