LT: Matt Reynolds 6'6" 305 lbs ,

LG: Houston Reynolds 6'2: 296 lbs

C: Terence Brown 6'4" 318 lbs,

RG:mBraden Hansen 6'6" 313 lbs,

RT: Braden Brown 6'6" 301 lbs,



this means our average weight is 306 lbs and our average height is just under 6'5"



Especially given reports that the o-line came in this fall more lean than before, this is a nice size to slim 'down' to. Should be fun to see which o-line is more dominant in the Ole Miss game

All our guys lost their guts they've been carrying for years. This is good for their mobility and their health. No one needs to weigh 350lbs.

Add this category to the number of starts by each lineman, and/or number of games played in and we get one of the best--if they stay healthy--Olines BYU has had in some time, maybe ever. Great stuff!

Who knows maybe these "slimmed down" guys might be able to actually and effectively run sweeps, which I dont think we have run very well over the years.

IIRC, BYU has like 107 career OL starts which was like #9 in the country for returning OLs.

If you think those are the actual weights, you are missing out on an industry standard. O-line get low listed all the time. I presume all of those guys weigh 20-30 lbs more each. IF you stood by them, easy to see. Those are BIG boys.

BYU certainly wasn't low-listing guys last year. Terrence Brown was listed around 340 last year. They are certainly big boys, but they're not as big as they were last year.



Unless you think some of them were playing at 350-360 last year.

I have a friend who is 300, and is 6 feet tall. He has stood next to O-line guys and looks TINY in size. No way they are the same weight or even 40 lbs more. If you think some NFL line guys are 340, you are joking. 380-400, but who wants to see that on a roster? NFL and college is sensitive to obesity related perceptions.
