Big XII Recruiting??

BYU football players from states currently in the Big XII:

Texas - 6

Kansas - 1

Oklahoma - 0

Iowa - 0

Missouri - 0

BYU football players from:

California - 20

Hawaii - 10

Washington - 4

Oregon - 3

No other state besides Utah has more than 2 recruits who call it home...

Aren't there some incoming recruits/returning missionaries from Oklahoma and Kansas?

I thought Michael Yeck was from Oklahoma?

Regardless, BYU getting into the Big12 won't suddenly open more doors in Big 12 states. You know what will more Big12 state doors? More LDS members who play football, are highly talented and want the BYU experience in those states.

BYU's recruiting will always be driven by the LDS population. It doesn't matter if we're in the WAC, MWC, Big 12, Big East or Independent. Our recruiting won't change.
