Utah's QB and offensive line.

What is up with Utah's QB? Is he injured, or just still recovering from surgery. Is their O-line intact, or just patched together? Will a 6'6" 265lb 7 foot wing span be cutting through their O-line like wet tissue paper to intimidate a head case QB?



On a similar note, is Uona Kavinga showing Ziggy Youtube videos of Terry Tate the office linebacker as part of his training? Cuz I think it wouldn't hurt to do that. :angry:

Sagarin just ranked the Utes about 20 and BYU 35 and TCU top 10. What are they smoking. I do not have an issue with BYU at 35 until we prove ourselves, but Utah should be 36 at best until we see if Wynn can play because you thought we had QB depth issues and experience issues in 2010, Utah has nothing but Wynn. Rookie RBs. Thin OL with injuries already making an impact, and inexperienced secondary. TCU lost a lot as well. Maybe the system is just paying back for ripping them off in previous years.

The Utes are in so much trouble offensively. They are going to struggle mightily early in the season because Wynn simply won't have the rep necessary in a new offense. (He has even fewer reps than Heaps had last year, because even though Heaps was sharing reps in the fall, he at least had reps in the spring.)



And they're going to struggle mightily later in the year when Wynn gets hurt.

Utah is dependent on Wynn this year in a big way. He has to stay healthy because they are thin and inexperienced behind him. That is why he is resting so much in Fall cam early. If Wynn goes down, the Utah season could get really ugly--like BYU 2004/2005 ugly.



Their O-line has 5 solid/decent starters, but they do not have much depth behind the group--experience wise. They also have issues up the middle. Both of their tackles should be solid though, but the guards and center might struggle. They will struggle to power run it this year.



I do know that the strength of the Utah team is their front 4 on D this year. They are the type Whit loves to have. Their LB Core should be decent as well, but the secondary is a huge unknown--just like ours. We at least return Eason and Uale. They return nothing.



Expect Utah to play many ball control, field position types of games this year. they will not score a lot, and they will try to not concede much either. They will play old school Big 10 football this year because they have no other choice.

The Utes already have injuries on the OL to include moving a DL to OL.



They are going to struggle scoring points this year.

Their left guard went down, then their back up guard went down. then the dlineman they moved their to fill in went down.

Didn't we learn anything from Oklahoma a few years ago? BCS teams can plug ANYONE in at offensive line and they will be able to step up and dominate right from the beginning.

He is an all american blah blah blah. The thing you have to understand is that at Oklahoma, everyone is a 5 star, so you could take a wr and have him play tackle and it isn't going to be any different. He will dominate from game one...

What's up with their line and qb? They suck, just like the rest of the team. 'Nuff said.
