LawboyNot sure how many of you watched the latest installment last night, but it was really good. the production quality this year with the new broadcast facility is outstanding. Obviously, students are still involved with reporting so it is not as slick, in some respects, but Dave McCann is a solid host, and his segment with Blaine Fowler was really good.
The piece that interested me the most involved the BYU marketing guy. They talked about game day and how they are working to make it more festive and how they want fans to come early, so they are going to have performers and other activities for fans, and they want TAILGATERS. Sounds as if BYU is working on creating a better game day experience.
They also talked about having the students all together in one section in the future--in the southeast section of the stadium to create a better student atmosphere. I am all for this. Hope it happens in 2012. I know some students do not want it because it means higher seating in the southeast corners, but considering how little they pay for the seat, and how it opens up lower seats for CC members and would raise more $$$, I am all for it. Plus, all students together would create a better overall vibe.
