WTFreak?

According to the update section on the right side of my screen, CougarStats just tweeted "Looks like Tottenham has put the 'hot' back in Hotspurs" about 51 minutes ago. That begs a few questions for me:



1. Why is CougarStats tweeting about an English Premier League soccer club?

2. Why did they not know that it's "Hotspur" and NOT "Hotspurs"?

3. And most importantly, as a HUGE Tottenham fan who has been religiously following all the transfer rumors this summer, WTFreak does that tweet mean?

They are not tweeting about the team per se...I think there has been rioting in the area in the last day or so including setting cars on fire and stuff...That is my guess.

Thanks for the info. The team's chairman issued a statement this morning that was a few paragraphs long, but failed to identify what exactly had happened. I guess I'm glad now that I never finalized my plans to go there this fall. We'll put that trip off for a little while now.
