which hosts "Equity in Athletics" information for all NCAA schools. He was citing it to show that last year BYU had 10 million more in athletics revenue than the U. It's a great site to see the male/female composition of our various sports, revenue and expenses, and coach distribution and aggregate salaries. Lots of factoids to glean:
-Total revenue in 2010 was 40 mill, expenses about 34.5. Football alone brought in over 15 million of that.
-386 male athletes, 370 female. But almost a third of the female athletes played two or more sports (less than 15% of the men did two).
-BYU head coaches as a group averaged 10% less in salary than the average for all full time positions at BYU.
...and then you can go back and look up any other school you want. Enjoy!
