The Cougar Kickoff

August 16th, 6pm

Hawes Field

Annual Cougar Kickoff set for Tuesday, August 16 at 6pm. Join us at Hawes Field (west of the Indoor Practice Facility) to meet our football team and get autographs from players. Hear from Coach Mendenhall and members of the team. Event is free to everyone.



This is a great event, especially if you have kids that are interested in football. You get to go and get posters or other items autographed by players. The non-skill position players are usually sitting at tables that large lines go past getting autographs, but the skill players usually get mobbed on the way to the tables and end up with pockets of fans around them on the field, so you'll end up having to run around trying to find them.





The Big Blue Bash

August 20th, 7pm

Marriott Hotel on W. Temple & 100 S.



The Big Blue Bash is put on by the SLC Cougar Club. They have Greg Wrubell MC the event and 4 or 5 people associated with the program come and speak. This includes a few current players, former players, and coaches. It's something like a fireside, with more emphasis on football. There is also an opportunity to meet and get autographs from the players and former players who attend the event.

Big Blue Bash: A Pre-Season Football Party--Aug 20

The Salt Lake Chapter of the BYU Cougar Club will be hosting its 6th Annual Big Blue Bash, a pre-season BYU Football Party for all Cougar fans. The party will be on Saturday, August 20, 7-9 pm, in downtown Salt Lake City at the Marriott Hotel on West Temple. The cost of the event is $5 (if pre-paid by August 17) or $10 at the door.
