"I will just contrast it this way: BYU and MWC, or BYU and ESPN. If I just put them side-by-side, in front of a recruit, they are going to pick ESPN." ~Bronco Mendenhall

"The instant credibility, and instant increase in status... has come with the ESPN partnership... they are putting 8-10 games on... that's more than we have had in the last six years. That's in one season... if you are living a ways away, and wondering if your family can see you play, just hit ESPN and you can watch. That's not a local broadcast. That's the worldwide leader in sports... Instant credibility."

It wasn't about recruits, but it was from the Legend's Round Table thing. Coach Edwards and Steve Young were talking back and forth about Young's first game when he threw something like 5 interceptions in the first half. Going into halftime Young kept saying "I'm fine, I'm fine." then coach said something like "what do you mean you are fine? You just threw 5 interceptions you dummy!"

Not the exact quotes, but it was the funniest thing I can remember hearing Coach Edwards say. If someone else remembers the exact exchange, feel free to correct me. It was the best/funniest quote from Media Days in my opinion.

Bronco saying that his last game @ Texas was with Oregon State, and how they got clobbered, and how he is looking forward to finally getting payback.
