I mean you have to ask why they're expecting you would use a kayak and not ski or bass boat :D

A buddy in my office couldn't figure out why they were directing people from Utah to Washington to board your kayak. He just tried it from Los Angeles and it directed him likewise to Washington. Don't they sell any frickin kayaks on the west coast anywhere than Washington?



To think that I have to go all the way to Washington to get my kayak to paddle across the Pacific really has me bummed out. :~(

No, you'll just save a lot of time by hitting the "jetstream" kayak highway from Washington, a lot less paddling involved. ;)

15 days travel time isn't bad considering you're paddling across the pacific. That's what about 3000 miles or so? :D

Working your way across on a tramp steamer would cut at least a week off your travel time--you might want to look into it.

Thank you for the laugh.I thought you were kidding so I went and found it punched in my directions and sure enough it said kayak 2,756 miles across the Pacific Ocean.Someone at BYU has a sense of humour.I think I will head out on Monday to assure that I make it on time. I have always fancied one of those big floating three wheel bikes.
