I also really liked your rebuttal to some of the people who left comments. Some of which were pretty retarded, like the "take away the '84 championship" argument. Plenty of "elite" schools go for long periods without championship. Michigan only has one championship in the last 50 years!

I love the "take away" line in any argument. You can't take away, because reality is what happened.



Take away Michael Jordan and the Bulls weren't that good of a team in the 1990s.

Take away Magic Johnson and the Lakers weren't that good of a team in the 1980s.

Take away Joe Montana and the 49ers don't win 4 Super Bowls in the 1980s.

Take away those seven no-hitters and all his strikeouts Nolan Ryan was an average pitcher.

Take away the best parts of my life and my memories are all bad.

Take away the Super Bowl and no NFL team has ever won it!

The rebuttal could have been a lot longer. The whole "take away" thing was pathetic. Case in point is Auburn. We literally see what happens this year when they take away Cam Newton. Auburn was 14-0, now they are projected to fall to last in their division of the SEC. Not exactly what you expect from an elite team.
