Purchasing Rights

BYU has purchased the right to show some football games that were previously on the mtn/cbs college sports/versus, and it looks like maybe even some of the basketball games, on BYUtv.org. I am hoping that they move to purchase the rights to more of the basketball games from this past season. It would be a shame if many of the great Jimmer games are never seen again.

I hope that they don't spend too much money for them. I don't want comcast to get our money.

What I am curious to see is if ESPN opens up their vaults to BYUtv. Growing up on a farm Saturdays were 10 hour days, year-round, of chores. I was excused from 12:00 to 2:30 to watch the BYU game with my grandfather. I would love to see replays of some of those matchups. Fennis Dembo, Eric Leckner, Luc Longley, Josh Grant vs. Marty Haws, Gary Trost, Jeff Chatman, Bobby Capener. Good memories.
