Trajan Pili Commits

Brandon Gurney from TBS/KSL/DesNews is tweeting that Trajan Pili, a 2013 LB from Centennial HS in Las Vegas just pulled the trigger and committed.



It's raining recruits around here. Wonder if he's related to any other Pilis BYU has been associated with.

He's related to Ifo and JoJo (currently serving a mission). He is top rated LB prospect in NV and has been one of the top rated if not the best at the All-Poly and BYU camps the last 2 years. Huge get for the Y and adds incredible depth to our LB core. Bronco must have some amazing designs forthcoming for our defense with the LB studs he is hauling into the fold.

He is going to put 11 LBs on the field who are as strong as DEs and and as fast as DBs.

Then on each play the offense won't know where they are lining up or who to block

Our future defense is going to be so strong and fast, Bronco's only going to field 10 of them. Not only can they play like 11, but the opposing QB is going to be so confused and frustrated that he can't find the 11th man that he's going to start shaking, convulsing and then simply sitting down and crying.

This is HUGE! BYU will become known as "Linebacker U." I am looking forward to stuffing Notre Dame with a solid & talented LB Corps!! The future is bright on both sides of the ball.

I am not gonna to worry about the LB position for a few years.



Now let's hope we can lock down some corners and safeties, and some more RBs and WRs. Skill guys still seem to be our achilles, other than QB.

Huge question - Why are we getting quality Polynesian commits? I thought we were told - emphatically - the BYU would NOT see any more Polynesian commits.



I am very excited to see that "that" prediction was way off the mark. Bueno! The Cougs have gotten some GREAT Poly commits this year. Trajan is a BEAST!! Very exciting.
