Only one loss this year!

If you haven't been following Phil Steele's blog this summer you should, because he is just as pathetic as those of us who check this site daily looking for something exciting to pop-up even though we are still over a month away form fall camp.



In his latest post he has us going 11-1 with our one loss to TCU. He must not know we play 13 games this year, but i appreciate the love he is giving the cougars this off-season. Its good to know BYU fans aren't the only one's thinking we are poised to make some noise this year as we have some big games on big stages.

He does not consider games against DII teams.

Interesting that he has both Boise State and Georgia as undefeated. One of them will have a loss after week one, since they play each other.



Virginia Tech undefeated in 8 sets of power rankings? They loose all credibility right there. VT coaching staff doesn't have what it takes to coach an undefeated team. VT will not be undefeated this year.

Its all based on 9 power sets, and we're 11-1 in 2 out of 9...so I don't look to heavily into it, but he being the most accurate there's great hope.



BYU coaching changes also have room for growth, creativity, and willingness to change (see Bronco allowing freshman in early-Crowton rule ends)



Those are what kept us from BcS bowl in 2006, and kept us from going undefeated or at least winning more games 2006-2010. Glad Anae is gone...big time glad.
