2012- Jherremya Leuta-Douyere LB/RB -- VERBAL

Jherremya Leuta-Douyere was just offered. He came to camp from Anaheim's Servite HS where he is a teammate of Butch Pau'u.

Not much info on him. HE was injured last year, so that might by why.

Apparently he is also excited about the offer and wants to discuss it with his parents prior to committing. If he comes, does Pau'u join him?

Another one to add to the 2012 list!

I think that BYU offered this guy partly because they want Butch here.



Hopefully this guy is great and if it seals the deal with Butch could be a great combo!

I do not think BYU offered this kid to get Pau'u. No way. You do not waste a schollie like that. BYU offered because they liked what they saw. HE looks like a solid FB type, if you ask me. We have none in this class, thus far.

I don't know anything about him, just interesting that they both got offered. Like I said, if they can both play (and obviously he's better than your average high school FB) then all the better.

I was told that Jherremya was ready to commit on the spot, but the BYU coaches told him to go home and talk it over with his parents first. I am sure it is in large part because he is not LDS, but Catholic, and they want the parents to have time to research it all out. I suspect he commits in the next day or so. I think he went home early with Butch as well. Both have offers, both might be ready to cmiit. Both just need a day or so to finalize.

Sounds like will soon be a commit. Parents doing due diligence, with the help of Butch Pau'u's family. Looking really good.

The commit came in tonight along with his friend Butch Pau'u. Really excited to have these 2.

B. Gurney reporting that JLD will play OLB. BYU is putting together quite the defense. It's going to be deep at linebacker for years.
