Who's NBA flame-out would surprise you more?

Which one of these guys would you most surprised to see completely flameout of the NBA? Who would you be most surprised to see completely out of the association in three years? Or in other words, who do you think is most likely to not be playing NBA ball in 2014-2015?

Maybe the poll should have been, who's most likely to flame out.



I'd go with Kanter probably as he could be the next koufos. But I don't know much about him, maybe he'll dominate.

The most surprising to me would be Knight. The least surprising to me would either be Walker or Williams. Walker doesn't shoot it well enough or handle it well enough.



Williams is too short to play his natural position in the NBA (4) and not quick enough with enough range to play the position that he is the right size for (3).

Yeah, IMO, there are more questions about Williams and Walker than there are about Jimmer.

I'd say Williams is the most likely to no flame out, simply because of his size. The taller you are, the more likely you are to be in the league.



Here are some "short" Power Forwards in the league.

6'5" Marqus Blakely

6'7" Jeff Adrien, Jon Brockman, Da'Sean Butler

6'8" Paul Millsap, Renaldo Balkman, Brandon Bass, Dejuan Blair, Derrick Brown, Dante Cunningham

6'9" Darrell Arthur, Carlos Boozer, Elton Brand, Derrick Caracter, Brian Cook



This is just through the letter "C" on ESPN.com. Admittedly not many of these are stars, but they have stuck around.



Other than Enes Kanter (who hasn't played in the US), the rest on the list are guards under 6'4, and some of whom haven't proven themselves in college.

I'lll add a name of a guy that I think will have a 13-15 year NBA career; Kenneth Faried. He's not flashy, not a great scorer but he's a tremendous defender that can rebound like nobody's business. I assure you that there will be many flameouts that will be drafted in front of him, but I'm absolutely sure that Faried will have a long productive NBA career.



He'll be a steal for anyone that takes him after the 15th pick.

A short power forward is rare, but with the right attitude a 6'4" guy like Charles Barkley can play a lot bigger than 6'4".

Faried is 6'7" but he had the 4th longest standing reach at the NBA combine of 9'0"

The dude is Dennis Rodman without the drama.



The teams that gamble on other forwards (like the Morris brothers, etc.) from 10-20 are going to regret not drafting Faried.
