BYU won't be spending the money for that billboard (they didn't with Ty).
400 yard passing games will be a rarity with the way BYU plays now. They run the ball much more than they used to. Chow even said then that he probably let Detmer throw it more than he should have.
I agree on the co-MVP award.
If he's good enough to go after his junior year, and is drafted high (1st or early 2nd round) I have no problem with him leaving. My guess is that he will return for his senior year because of his size, and then be drafted early.
He will be mentioned on sports center.
Asking Jake to do what Jimmer did to be considered a BYU great is a little unreasonable. Jimmer had one of the greatest years EVER by a college athlete in any sport. There are less than 20 basketball players in the history of the NCAA to score more than 1,000 points in a season. Jimmer was the first to do it since Glenn Robinson in the mid to late 90's (at least that's what I thought Greg Wrubell said during one of the games).
