This type of preseason noise/respect bodes well for an opening day win on ESPN over Ole Miss.

Considering we went 7-6 last year with some struggles, I will take #29. Texas at #18 surprises though, because they were worse than us, had huge staff turnover, and return a bad QB. I suppose recruiting is why they get more love.



Start 2-0, and we will get the respect we all want. Start 3-0, and the wheels are turning towards a huge season.

He actually picked Arizona St to win their division and going to the Pac 12 Champ game. ASU comes in with a stingy D, but they're offense is more unproven than the FrUtes. Which I find that a knock on :utard:

Utah has lost a load of great talent the last 3 years, and the guys coming in this year are not as talented, and definitely lack experience. Add to it issues at QB, along with the fact that Utah's typically solid D will be down this year as well, and Utah will be fortunate to finish 3rd in the PAC-12 South. Not a knock on them, just the reality that their 2012 will be like our 2011--a rebuild year.

I am good with BYU #29 Preseason. Lawboy is right win and the respect will come.

I usually buy the pre-season mag that 1-has BYU on the cover, 2-has BYU ranked the highest or 3-says most(ly) positive things about BYU



Some years I don't buy any. Phil Steele got my money this year.

Funny how high ND is, this could be their best year in 20+ years...I bet they lose a lot though.
