What other forums do you belong to?

I thought this might be an interesting topic to see what kinds of other things we BYU fanatics love.

I grew up riding dirt bikes and doing some desert racing, but now my college student status means racing is a far too time consuming and expensive hobby to maintain, so luckily I married the perfect woman who loves motorcycles and let me buy this beauty

It's an '87 Honda VF700C "Super Magna". They really built cruisers differently back then, performance was just as important as looks. Nowadays, it's all show and no go. My baby can blow away modern cruisers with engines twice its size. In fact, my nearly 25 year old bike can almost keep up with my buddy's Kawasaki ZX-6R crotch rocket.

What kind of guns do you have?

I would never admit online what I do or do not own, nor what I may or may not have on my person at any given time... however, I will say this.



No home is complete without a 12 gauge shotgun.

Everyone should have familiarity with a good hunting rifle like a 30.06 or 30-30 for when the world's infrastructure falls apart.

AR15s are a lot of fun to shoot, and if you enjoy shooting you should have a .22 for plinking cheap.

And I've always found joy in shooting a variety of handguns for pleasure. I like 9mm because ammo is plentiful and cheap. I think the Springfield XDm is a fine system. There's nothing like the feel of a 1911 in your hand though!

I was on a LOST forum until thr show ended last May. I post on ESPN.com from time to time, and that is really it, other than here and Rumorboard.

That is crazy! Random note on a shotgun. My father-in-law is a retired Las Vegas police officer and he told me that a pump action shotgun is the best gun to have for home defense. Just the sound of the pump action is usually enough scare off intruders, and it's a lot harder to miss if it actually comes to firing at someone
