Seriously huge... Will players follow?

As a closet Buckeye fan, I have mixed feelings on this one. Glad to see the vest finally do the right thing and resign, but scared because this problem is MUCH bigger than just Tressel, so this might just be the scapegoat while the larger problem remains institutionalized in the Athletic Dept, so one of the best coaches in the country might just have been run while the larger problem has yet to be addressed. It's only a matter of time until the investigation starts reaching Thad Matta and the bball team, and then it's really going to hit the fan.

Then again, I might not mind a 2 year levy like USC got if the Bucks come out of it with Urban Meyer at the helm.

the question is can they find someone willing to hold the job until Urban wants it? Urban isn't going to touch this job until the NCAA has ruled and the punishment been completed. He's not going to coach at a place where he's at a disadvantage (reduced scholarships, no bowls, no TV, etc).

Definitely! No way Urban comes into a program, that's in shambles. He's only successful when a previous coach has all the pieces in place.

ESPN is listing both Urban Meyer & Gary Patterson (TCU) as possible replacements. It's so quick, I don't think they have even been contacted yet. This will be interesting to watch it play out. The mighty fall.
