Chase Hansen

Chase Hansen is on an article on Deseret News and he seems to like both BYU and Utah anyone know which one he likes more?

Probably might depend on what position schools want him to play. I believe both are recruiting him as a safety, and not as a QB, but maybe Utah offers him to ply QB if he has a great senior year.



The 2011 season for both schools could tip it as well. Gotta win big in 2011.

Would he consider utah more since BYU is so loaded at QB?

I bet he verbally commits to BYU because of Doman and family ties to the Y but because he plans to go on his mission straight out of high school where he ends up in 2014 depends on where BYU and Utah's programs are in 3 years.

He is my best friends nephew, last I heard he wanted to go to a California school, but hadn't received the attention he has gotten from the Y and the U.

Utah will tell him what he wants to hear, BYU will tell him what he needs to hear.

This kids dad and uncles played at BYU. His uncle Bruce played on the 1984/85 teams and started at FB. Met him back in 1987 because he was dating my hot marketing teacher in high school. IF this kid picks Utah, it is because they either offered as a QB and we didn't or...no other reason. BE shocked if he went to Utah to play safety.

He's handsome anyway.
