Jimmer will not be the first pick by the Jazz

I love me some Jimmer, but if you take Jimmer #3, you deserve to miss the playoffs.



Maybe with their second pick, but hopefully he'll be in a more stable, up-tempo organization before the second Jazz pick rolls around.

agree 100%, sno. If the jazz take him at 3 I will be shocked, stunned, and really, really pissed! As much as Jimmer is awesome, he's not a #3 pick and it would be a waste of a pick that high to take him. If they can get him at 12, that would be ok but no way no how should he be picked up at 3.

If the Jazz take a point at #3, they do not take Jimmer at all. I suspect Jimmer goes to Phoenix or the Knicks. They suit him best. Later 1st Round.

I'll be very surprised if the Jazz take Jimmer. I think most want it to happen and that's why they talk about it, but I don't think it will happen. For Jimmer's career, the farther back he goes in the 1st round the more opportunity that he has of being where he doesn't have to carry a team. That's not the best scenario for JF to start his career. Sure the money might not be the same, but I have to believe that where you land is a lot more important that the difference in money between going #12 or somewhere else up to about #22.



The only remote possibility I would see for JF to go to the Jazz would be if for some odd reason Irving or Williams falls to #3 and then the Jazz actually need a PG with their #12 pick.
