it is obviously the off season. I seriously can't wait for football to start.



ON a separate note, anybody going to the Hawaii game? I was thinking about ditching out on the texas game and going to the hawaii game instead. I have never been. Anybody been to a game there?

I was hoping to go to the hawaii game as we will be there for a cruise Dec. 3. Unfortunately, I found out the game doesn't start until 6pm, have to be on the boat by 5 or so. Not sure the wife would be too understanding if I met her in Maui the next morning . . . But maybe she'd be ok with it, nah, she'd be ticked. Lingo, hope you make it to the Hawaii game, I'll bet it wil be fun. At least it's an excuse to go to Hawaii.

I live in Hawaii and will be going unless I am dead or miraculously translated to Heaven or the mainland before then. If UH is having any kind of a decent season renewal of this rivalry will make this a tough ticket to get so get yours early. Hawaii needs your travel money too. Come to Hawaii and bring everyone you know. Hawaii is expensive - but a great destination and a great time of year as it will not likely be as hot and humid as it would be in Sept or Oct.



Aloha Stadium is medium size and old and dated and 30 mints or more from most hotels depending on traffic.



There are many great things to do while you are here. I recommend a trip to La'ie and Kahuku area to see home of the Poly Pipeline, BYU Hawaii, Polynesian Cultural Center, and North Shore beaches, especially Sunset Beach and Pipeline. Turtle Bay is nice or Marriott Ko"olin a hotel if you want a switch or just join everyone else in Waikiki.



Feel free to start a UH thread and I and other locals can suggest tourist activities. An LDS family from my ward owns a business in Hawaii Kai that rents jet skis and takes people parasailing and on other water activities. If there is enough interest, I will ask them for a BYU fan discount coupon.

gong to hawaii got too complicated too quick. just finished up my travel, hotel, and ticket plans for texas. cant wait to beat texas at their place.
