DUI for UNLV Player...

Think Rice is already having second thoughts. UNLV's leading scorer got nailed with a DUI over the weekend. Will be interesting to see how Rice handles it.

Is this a story from that 1-2 bid has been conference?

If it's the players first offense, hope he's suspended for just a couple of games with a couple hundred hours of community service, hopefully something to do with helping families devastated by drunk driving. If it's a repeat offense, throw him off the team.



I would hope this is how it's dealt with at BYU too. Maybe a little longer suspension because of the honor code.

If it's UNLV/previous coach style: He gets docked a half hour of practice (a reward by my accounts)



If its handled by Big 10 accounts, it's swept under the rug and only Rice knows about it. The NCAA allows him to play in the unlv tourney and ncaa tourney but makes him miss the baloney preseason next season.



If its handled by BYU Rice-he will be dealt with in a way that angers non-LDS unlv fans.
