Braketology

The pre-pre-pre-season braketology from Lunardi is out already. He has BYU as an 8 seed and rising. I found that very comforting to see considering this is supposed to be a building year.



I also found it interesting to see that he has 3 teams in from the WCC and only 2 from the MWC. This already gets me pumped for next season...

I've been saying all along that I really don't think WCC is as big a step down as some people are making it out to be. With BYU it's a 3 bid conference, just like the MWC.



It's true that the botton half (or more) of the league is down right awful right now, but San Diego was in the tourney as recently as 2008 and made it to the second round, so it's just as easy to imagine another WCC team or two getting good again as it is to imagine SDSU or UNM to fall back into obscurity.

BYU is 7 or higher. I just Jimmered Lunardi.





Speaking of Jimmered, how does that change this next season.
