My favorite part of the video is right at the end when he makes a block to ensure a touchdown.

The video shows that this kid is a multi-talented weapon and can play PR, KR, RB, WR, DB etc. He appears to be hard-nosed, can run down opposing players, and likes contact as on defense he often lines up to blitz and hits like a LB.



You can see that he has great speed (got behind a lot of the DBs when he played WR), can catch the ball, and is very explosive in the open field (can shed tacklers and juke them).



The massive block that he lays on the DB is when he comes out of no-where, wasn't initially involved in the play, and springs the QB for a TD.

Talo Steves reviewed his play at the All Poly Camp in Bountiful and had this to say about him:



"Also showing well from the safety position was 5-foot-11-inch, 180-pound senior Ma'ne Manaea from Lakes High School in Washington. A fiery and flamboyant player, Manaea held down the middle of the field very well in pass support and showed a good ability to read well in the run game. He claims offers from Washington State and Colorado, and said he is and said he is being looked at by Utah, Oregon State, San Jose State, UCLA, Utah State and BYU."



True Blue Sports reviewed his play and noted:



"Ma'ne Manaea 5’10” 180(Lakes HS, Washington) was the verbal leader of the defensive backs. Manaea was very physical in every session and solid in run support. He also recorded the hit of the day against a much bigger tight end. The collision effectively ended the morning session as the trainers had to clear the field to help the injured player. Manea who sports hair similar to what Josh Quezada wore in high school knows about BYU through 2011 recruit Terenn Houk."
